Podium - Issue 58 The latest edition of Podium was delivered to residents at the beginning of December. Look out for details of the Barbican's programming for the festive season, an offer to come to a special residents' private view of OMA/Progress and the exciting new shopping opportunities at the Centre. Presentation from the Residents' Consulation Meeting on 9 Jun A pdf version of the presentation given by Nicholas Kenyon at the cinema consultation meeting on 9 Jun is available to download on the right. The presentation addresses the main questions and concerns raised prior to and during the meeting. These include questions around sound containment, visitor management, hours of deliveries and light emission.
Cinema project - planning permission application The Barbican Centre would like to make residents aware that it has submitted a planning permission application to the City of London, proposing a new cinema scheme to be built on the current site of Exhibition Hall 1, on the corner of Beech Street and Whitecross Street.
