Want to find out what it's like playing a violin strung with animal gut, or discover how a harpsichord works? Come along to our first-ever AAM Explore workshops and try out a range of original instruments with AAM musicians on hand to guide you.

There will be specific sessions on brass, strings and harpsichords, as well as a general discussion about period performance hosted by BBC Radio 3's Sara Mohr-Pietsch and featuring AAM musicians.

Both players and spectators are welcome. If you'd like to play, the sessions are aimed at those of grade 5 standard or above.
